The Student Apprentice

Are you a whole field of ponies? Does everything you touch turn to salt? Do you want a summer internship with React Comms and £500 cash? Well you’re in luck because applications for the third annual Student Apprentice are about to open!

The Student Apprentice is an annual competition run by Fish on Toast to find Southampton University’s most creative and entrepreneurial student. Based on the hit BBC TV show, the Student apprentice aims to test a candidate’s skill in all areas of business. Successful applicants will be split into two teams which compete against each other in a series of themed tasks. These tasks have been specifically designed to test leadership, salesmanship, negotiation organisation and teamwork. Each week one team will win and the other will lose. The team that wins will receive a treat. And in the team that loses, two of you will be fired.

The entire process, from first interview to grand finale, will be filmed and uploaded to the official Fish On Toast YouTube Channel thanks to the brilliant videography of Wessex films. If you would like to watch candidates from previous years battle it out to become “The Apprentice” visit the YouTube channel.
